Summer Intern - Information Technology
Varroc Lighting Systems is a global automotive supplier providing custom design solutions and innovative product development for exterior vehicle lighting systems. Headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan, we manufacture world-class lighting created through our leading-edge global manufacturing capabilities.
Delivery of innovative exterior lighting is our mission. Some of our key technologies include: matrix lamps, adaptive driving beam (ADB), LED lamps, organic light-emitting diodes or OLEDs and electronic control modules.
We are currently seeking individuals wanting to gain hands-on experience in the following area:
- Information Technology (Infrastructure focus)
This internship will provide:
- The opportunity to take ownership of project and present information to senior leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
- The opportunity to work side-by-side with Varroc employees and provide feedback that will actually create a lasting and profound impact on how we do business on a daily basis.
DESIRED COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Enrolled in an undergraduate program from an accredited university, preferably second or third year students
- Exhibit strong leadership and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer proficient with MS Office
- Ability to work both individually and as a team member in a creative and diverse environment
